Key responsibilities include:
1. Strategic responsibilities: –

• Develop interactive training programmes across the company.
• Choose the best training methods or activities according to the particular purpose and audience.
• Promote training opportunities to employees in a compelling way that provides all necessary information and entices participation.
• Oversee and maintain training facilities and necessary equipment.
• See the big picture and conduct company-wide needs assessments.
• Uphold best practices and corporate education principles for training.
• Design and prepare educational materials as needed.
• Measure effectiveness of training and generate a summative evaluation report.
• Liaise with various experts regarding instruction and scheduling.
• Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for in-house trainers.

2. Functional responsibilities: –
• Schedule continuing skill development and technical training classes for existing staff members. Stress the importance of continual growth and learning.
• Cooperate with management to create and conduct surveys designed to identify specific training needs within the organization.
• Utilize a variety of methods such as conferences, demonstrations, workshops, classroom training, meetings, and on-the-job training to make continuous training and development an interesting and dynamic process.
• Instruct supervisors and instructors in effective methods for dealing with employees and training them in their various responsibilities.
• Arrange on-the-job training for new hires and conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new staff members with correct procedures and processes.

To qualify for the role, you must have: –
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, HR or related field with 4-6 years of exp in Training management.
• Proficient using Microsoft Suite
• Experience with e-learning platforms and delivering training will be added advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of best practices in creating instructional materials
• Excellent grasp of English grammar and communication skills.
Key attributes for success: –
• Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to design effective training programs & convey complex information in an understandable way.
