SMT Engineer Production

Key responsibilities include:

1. Strategic responsibilities –
• Plan and develop processes and capacity utilization strategy for SMT assembly operation. (Kitting, solder paste printing , automated solder paste inspection , component placement , reflow soldering , automated optical inspection , automated X-ray inspection , BGA rework).
• Trouble shooting of machine problems during Production process.

2. Functional responsibilities –
• Performs preventive maintenance activities on SMT line machines.
• Optimize machine setup and programming sequences.
• Follow SMT processes & provide suggestions for improvement.
• Generate and maintain documentation on PM, history card and equipment maintenance activities (check sheets, standard reports, justifications, scheduling, etc.)
• Performs continuous machine assessment activities and generates and executes.
• Adept in handling project activities involving resource planning, in-process inspection, fabrication, team building and co-ordination with internal & external departments.
• Proven dexterity in leading & directing personnel towards accomplishing common organizational goal and objective.

To qualify for the role, you must have –
• Qualification : ITI, Diploma/Degree in Electronics
• Work experience -0 to 4yrs
• Hands-on experience with tools, boards, parts, and other components of PCB assembly machines.
• Ample understanding BOM.
• Good communication- verbal as well as written- email communication.
• Good knowledge of SMT machine & Processes.
