Senior Certification Engineer

Key responsibilities include:
Knowledge and experience in registration process, testing and certification requirements for Indian and Global Approvals like TEC-MTCTE, BIS, CE, UL, EMC, WASTE MANAGEMENT (EPR), COC, TRADEMARK, IMEI, EXPORT & IMPORT SUPPORT, LEGAL METEROLOGY, ENVIRONMENTAL TESTS, EMC, ARAI/ICAT, MNRE.
Renewals / updating / filing of any requirements for existing certificates.
Responsible for developing product certification plans for its regulatory compliance during new product development & Support pre-certification design and troubleshooting efforts
Research and stay abreast on applicable and potential regulations

Assist in maintaining a product roadmap by way of providing certification related information (timelines, quotes, validity, renewals etc)

Assist senior staff for Product compliance activities & update regularly on any updates /new regulatory requirements/ Coordinate internal teams to support ongoing and future certification requirements

Liaise with stakeholders (clients, suppliers, test lab, certification body etc), assist with compliance testing and completion of product compliance certification within the deadline.

Work with development teams to obtain certificates
Arrange samples to perform reliability and safety testing
Prepare the required documents for obtaining certifications.
Ensure compliance of existing products
Establish links with certification agencies.
Approve the labeling of the product and the documentation provided to customers.
English – Good writing and Oral communication.
Good Project Management experience.
Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
Ability to multi-task & handle tasks with competing priorities effectively.
Must be aware of safety requirements

Support Evolute global strategic initiatives
Read and interpret standards to establish certification requirement.
To qualify for the role you must have – Minimum 5 years of experience in certification and regulatory activities with Bachelor’s degree.

You will earn brownie points if you have –
• Worked on EMV, Paywave, Paypass, Qspark and PCI-PTS certifications
• Worked on STQC and UIDAI RD service certifications
• Knowledge of Global fintech technologies and regulatory issues/compliance (Example what is used in say Africa, Latin America)
• Working experience with both product and services technology
